I am feeling kind of empty as I write this. Luis Castillio is gone. Oliver Perez is gone. Our two “Most Wanted Targets” are no longer around to beat up! What a blogger and disgruntled Mets fans to do? We have had it easy the past few years. We always had a whipping boy or two. 

So I ask you Met fans Who is the next target? Who ya gonna call out? 

1) Wilpons- This is an easy one and also the best because it leads to potential multiple suspects.(Fred and Jeff) Plus you have to take a number or get in line to pick on them right now, because as you know they are a favorite target for alot of people if you know what I mean. They are busy!

2) Terry Collins- Mets fans pretty vocal about who they preffered as the manager and as I recall Terry was not the favorite. Alot of fans think that he is just keeping the seat warm for Wally Backman. If the Mets get off to a slow start, Terry can easily move into the favorite position.

3) K- Rod- As far as players go, he may be the odds on favorite. Plus we have the intersting contract incentive about finishing 55 games. He should make for some good drama during the season.

4) Jose Reyes-Unthinkable right? Suppose he gets off to an awful start. The smart money is on the Mets not signing him anyway, so he wil be gone at the latest at the end of the year and possibly during the “Trading Season” He has not been all lovely dovey saying that he wants to be a Met forever. This could be interesting.

5) Carlos Beltran- Suppose his knees won’t let him play so much and he is on the bench collecting $18 million and making plans for 2012 on our time?…Plus a few fans remember “Called Third Strike” in the playoffs.

6) Jason Bay- Our “$ 66 Million Man” Sure he hit all those home runs in that “Bandbox” known as Fenway Park. Six home runs last year. Yes he was injured, but what is this years excuse going to be. He does not have alot of protection in the lineup, if Beltron goes down.
